Career Orientation Workshop for Middle Schoolers

Want a good career advice? Then read on: Its is very much required for students to know about the interview process. This can help you as a student to get a job when you are as young as 14. Cole and Anita, employees of Colonial Life, played a skit at St.Andrews Middle School depicting the importance of an interview. Some advice on making resumes were also given. Volunteers from Colonial Life requested the students to take up alternative jobs like babysitting in case of job unavailability. The workshop was really useful for the students in resume building and personality development.

McIntyre Hosts Workshop for Job Seekers

Mike McIntyre will host a session, which will help people learn strategies and tips for making resumes, searching for jobs online, filling out applications and deciding when it’s time for a career change. McIntyre calls it a “boot camp” for job seekers and the session will be held on Monday at the Robeson Community College in Lumberton. The entry is restricted by registration. He will also talk about efforts in Washington to help Americans get back to work.
